Hagansport COGOP Community Participation

This past weekend (5 May 2018), Hagansport COGOP youth group and leaders took part in “Paint Our Town”. This is an annual community service project in Franklin County. Volunteers from across the county take time to assist those in need with painting their house. This affects mostly senior citizens and is a blessing for all who take part.

[Here are some of the participants as they make a difference in the lives of their neighbors]

This endeavor allowed the Hagansport COGOP family to be the hands and feet of Jesus, working shoulder-to-shoulder with others, to make an impact in their community. There were 75 total participants, from across the county, this past weekend and other will be volunteering this Saturday as well to continue the effort.

According to Ms. Pam Blalock, their team had the honor of blessing Ms. Dorothy Spencer. She is a senior citizen in the community.

It is a blessing for our church families to take part in opportunities to bless the communities in which we live. Hagansport COGOP is known for taking part in their community and these experiences will have an eternal impact our earthly eyes cannot see. Additionally, the youth of their church are going to remember these events as highlights of God moving within and through their local body.

If there is something your local church is taking part in, send the information and some pictures to We will do our best to highlight what God is doing across Texas.
